Selling our townhouse in Warrnambool turned out to be a far more challenging process than we originally expected. Given the location, views and overall quality of the property, we initially thought it would sell quickly. However, the three-storey layout and stairs limited the buyer pool considerably, with many potential buyers being downsizers who ultimately wanted something single level. The property was on the market for around 91 days and the campaign included an auction which unfortunately passed in without bidding, followed by a fairly quiet post-auction period. Throughout the entire process Chris remained professional, realistic and persistent, continuing to work with interested parties and keep communication flowing. In the end Chris successfully negotiated a result with buyers who had originally been searching for a smaller home but decided to purchase our property as both a short-term residence and investment opportunity. We appreciated the honest advice during a difficult market period and the effort to negotiate the best possible outcome under the circumstances.
