I bought my first property in mid-2005, that's when I met Robert. I knew of Aussie as a good brand. Robert proved to me he would look after my interests and proceeded to get me the best loan possible. That was almost 17 years ago. I'm told people usually change Brokers after about 4 or 5 years. When I was thinking of upgrading (2012), I thought of Robert first. I was going to sell my apartment and buy a house/townhouse. Robert suggested I keep my apartment as an investment and use the equity to help me buy my new property. I found a property we liked, put in an offer but we had some problems with this purchase (nothing to do with Robert) and we withdrew our offer. The Real Estate Agent suggested another property he had listed. This was even better and we put in an offer. We bought this and moved in. Now we were property investors. In 2014 my partner had been out of work for a year and then was offered two jobs in Sydney so we had to move. We now had two investment properties. As you probably all know, the Sydney market, prices and interest rates in 2014/15 made it impossible for us to buy and the market in Queanbeyan was not good for a seller. We waited. In 2019, we were forced into looking again as our rental property was put on the market. We turned to Robert again and again he worked hard for us to buy our current property. This was because of my age and most lenders were not going to loan me money. Robert worked his magic and got us a loan. I'm sure I stressed him out a bit with all my questions and my frustration at how the process was playing out. He succeeded and we moved in in Nov 2019. I sold my investment properties. With proceeds of the sales, we paid off one of the loan splits. Our lender, Pepper Money, would not offer a better rate for the balance so again we turned to Robert. We now have a new lender and our interest rate has dropped from 3.79% to 2%. You will be hard pushed to find a Broker who will work harder for you. Choose Robert Mercieca.
