Without his help organising our most recent loan we would likely have given up due to the bank’s byzantine and overly bureaucratic documentary requirements. The short version is: Robert is very clearly a highly experienced mortgage broker. He is kind, attentive, and concientious, and made the whole process of purchasing my first home ultimately pretty stress-free. I will be back to ask for his services if and when I decide to re-finance my mortgage or purchase an investment property. I contacted Robert in March 2021 after a friend of mine referred me to him, as I was just entering the market for my first home. Despite the fact that I had disclosed that I was not intending to actually apply for a home loan for at least 3 months, Robert spent a lot of time talking with me on the phone discussing various things about buying a first home; from what kind of property to aim for (free-standing house V.S. townhouse V.S. apartment), what to look for (and avoid) in a property, and even gave some financial advice (although he understandably made it clear he is not a financial advisor and that I should do my own research, but the information he provided was still helpful and guided me in the right direction). When we decided to apply for pre-approval in late May, Robert was very clear in telling me what documents/evidence I needed to prepare, and was very prompt, both responding to questions and in updating me on the progress of the application. He answered all my questions very clearly, and explained the process of buying a property. His experience and professional acumen were evident throughout. Robert even referred me to a handful of solicitors (I ended up going with Enrica Wong from O'Connor Harris & Co - very happy with Enrica and her team). Once I found a property that I wanted to buy, he was able to get my unconditional loan approval within the week (which was very welcome during this apparently mad time for banks and mortgage applications), and kept in touch throughout the process of finalising the purchase. All in all, I am very satisfied, and can wholeheartedly recommend Robert to anyone who needs a mortgage broker.

Robert is very experienced broker and was able to source finance for us under very constrained circumstances. Most brokers would have given up and in fact Robert was able to source finance for us where’re a family member (a broker was unable).
