Karl, Celeste and the team at 1840 have taken care of our investment property for many years now. Whilst we both move around the country to different jobs and different lives, they are the team at home who take care of business. We have always found them easy to communicate with, and honest in their approach to business. We rely on them for up to date market knowledge and advice when it comes to changing tenants or maintaining and improving the property. 1840 Real Estate has managed our rental property for about five years. We have dealt mainly with Karl and Celeste, who are friendly, knowledgeable and totally professional. They have so far helped us enter into four different tenancies, which have all worked out well. There have been no problems with non-payment of rent or damage to the property. When lesser problems have occasionally arisen, Celeste has resolved them while minimising the burdens on us. For example, when the property was once burgled, she organised necessary repairs and the installation of an alarm system. I have no hesitation in recommending 1840 Real Estate.

A review is difficult to write when a service is still at the honeymoon stage. I think this would be better timed 6 months in. However, Karl was very thorough with a comprehensive overview of the Company, fees and services they offered. After several weeks of non suitable candidates the 'perfect' couple were found - just what I was looking for. The rental income settled on is good. I had some loose ends to tidy up after I left (repairs etc) and 1840 have been able to support the service installations/attendance in a very professional manner. Karl responds quickly and all team members offer a very friendly, professional service.
