When you sell for some $250K above reserve some credit must be attributed to the performance of the auctioneer. Craig Williamson displayed a consummate skill set in extracting late bids in an auction performance that was highly energetic and compelling. I believe the choice of auctioneer can make a significant difference to the ultimate selling price.
