My journey with Simon began some months ago when a family situation determined that I move to Ballarat to be near my daughter and her 3 children. Hence, the need to sell my current home of 26 years. I was in the midst of negotiating the purchase of two properties in Ballarat, when I began going through the process of interviewing agents in Melbourne to assist me with the sale of my home. I had met with a number of agents and had already decided on one agent. However, I still had one more person to meet, and because I had made the appointment to meet already, I went ahead with the meeting - enter Simon Pintado. I went through the process of explaining my situation, and the reason for selling a home that I loved and was very sad to leave. It was also troubling me somewhat, dealing with the negotiations for the two new properties that I was purchasing. I did not convey this issue to any of my prospective agents. Then, completely unsolicited, Simon made the comment, “I can help you with that.” I felt an instant relief, and, from that moment on, Simon became my agent of choice. Then began the procedure to sell my home. We had a bumpy ride along this journey of ours, and throughout, Simon made every possible effort to ease the ride for me. It showed clearly, that Simon was not just my agent, but, a person who cared that we both completed this journey unscathed. Simon handled the negotiations in a professional manner, and when it came to ”crunch” time for me to make the decision, to accept or not to accept, I asked Simon to give me 10 minutes to decide.
