From the moment we decided to put our home of 17 years on the market Matt and his team were so helpful and respectful of us and of our home. From the first day of the opens to the close of the hammer on auction day we were very informed and supported and given all the information promptly therefore never once needing to question anything as all was well communicated quickly and clearly. We were confident with our choice of real estate agent/s. Auction day was very nerve wrecking and also emotional, as this was the end of an era for our family. But as always Matt drew a strong crowd and definately gave them a big show. Matt, Katrina and their team were fantastic and in the end got the job done and what an awesome result it was. We would highly recommend Matt and his team if you wish to have the best result possible for your sale. We can honestly say we would not consider anyone else to sell property for us.

I found Matt to be the most honest real estate agent that I have dealt with and we have brought and sold a few times, he didn't ask me to spend a lot of money on the unit but to try and use furniture that I had and do the work ourselves this was a masterstroke and the unit looked amazing which helped with the sale, he did not pressure me at anytime and listened to my ideas and views, Matts communications with the prospective buyers was amazing and I received the best price for what I was selling and I am extremely happy, thanks Matt. We met Mathew Cox when we decided to sell our family home with Buxton. Mathew is a fantastic agent with great knowledge of the Parkdale area. Throughout the sale process Mathew kept us up to date as to what was happening with our opens and up to the auction day. When choosing an agent, don't just go with your property management agent, go to a variety of agent opens for inspections, auctions and test their market knowledge and sales skills. Put yourself in the buyers shoes and see which opens impress you, from the streamline process of taking details to adequate staffing levels at opens and auctions to assist buyer with their questions or bidding. Emily along with her PA, Amy were 1st class in their open for inspection properties I attended. Amy took names allowing Emily to interact with buyers. In addition to the usual brochure given at all open for inspections, Emily gave buyers an info sheet with FAQs answered such as Rent opinion, Council, Water, B/corp rates, etc. Other agents opens did not have these – very unprofessional. Emily was very professional with marketing advice and was the only agent that gave a confident sales figure that even I was sceptical of the property selling for given some of its limitations. Other agents were vague in their estimate of the sale price and not enthusiastic about spending more on marketing, some emphasising cost effectiveness in achieving the same result with minimal marketing. Selecting Emily came down to confidence in herself with her strong belief that she is truly the best agent in the area with the most sales and enthusiasm in wanting to sell my property over the other agents. Watching auctions it was clear at the various skill levels, from using mic/speakers or none, to those confident enough to control auction bids before handing control to buyers with smaller bids. Matthew's experience truly shows in his ability to get bidding even in difficult circumstances. Despite my property being passed into the highest bidder at auction, Emily achieved an astounding result, negotiating a price within $5k of her original estimated sale price, that is truly amazing and shows her confident negotiating skills and market knowledge of what buyers are prepared to pay for a property.
