As usual when considering deals about anything from purchase of a shirt, car, washing machine, etc., we have a habit of choosing from a number of possibles, then a short list of, say 3 final candidates, then settling on one. Criteria for our decision, after certain homework, in this important deal was that our Agent should be primarily trustworthy, be experienced, have local market knowledge, be realistic in their expectations, not be overpowering or too 'pushy but be attentive, patient, sensitive, especially to us Oldies!
