About Tim

Mildura has for the larger part of my life, been home for me and I have loved raising my family here with my wife Julieanne. I am a proud Dad of two amazing young men Josh and Brodie. I’m an eager North Melbourne football club supporter and enjoy watching the game with family and close friends. I love a good adventure and love where possible to have time away with my wife and visiting my kids. My sons and I share a passion for cars and my pride and joy is my Subaru WRX. Like most people you find in real estate I didn’t start my working life here. I completed a trade in printing as well as being a sales consultant for neighborhood cable which I feel was the perfect building block to set myself up for the real estate industry. I take great pride in being a real estate agent and I love what I do and after working at Collie & Tierney for over 10 years it feels like a second home. I have great satisfaction when talking to people about the opportunities they have when buying a property in our district. I am a people person and I strive to ensure that everyone is treated equally. I believe that my passion, honesty and care plays a very important part in clients feeling comfortable with choosing me to help sell or purchase their property.

I have lived in Sunraysia all my life and I really can't imagine wanting to live anywhere else. Raised on a horticultural property, I learned all the aspects of running a fruit block and this hands on experience has helped give me the Rural aspect of Real Estate and hence elected as Chair of the Rural & Regional Chapter for First National Real Estate in 2014. My passions in life are my wife Carolyn, children Danella, Brittney and Shaun, grandson Paradise and my sport. I was a premiership player with Red Cliffs Football Club in 1983, coached football, cricket and basketball at both senior and junior levels and life member of the Mildura Junior Football Club. I am also a very keen fisherman. Like many real estate agents, I didn't start in the real estate industry. The first 12 years of my career were spent as a qualified Carpenter & Joiner. This experience plus my local knowledge, opened the path to my career in real estate which began in 1993. My goal is to provide my clients with the highest quality service, strive to get the best result possible and to make their real estate experience a pleasant and memorable one. I have sold over 200 millions of dollars worth of property and have been awarded several National and State achiever awards. As a Director of the company I am directly responsible for real estate sales, manager of the Rural division and senior sales manager. I'm proud to be a long standing member of the National Award winning First National Collie & Tierney Real Estate team.

About Lyle

I have lived in Sunraysia all my life. Raised in Gol Gol, I attended the primary school there and completed my senior education at Mildura Technical School. I commenced my employment with Mildura Rural City Council with the gardening staff in 1976 where I quickly progressed to head curator of the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club. Four years later I started my own landscaping business which quickly grew into a large bobcat & earthmoving business. I sold this business after 23 years, before moving into real estate - where I now pride myself on offering my clients 110% at all times. My number one interest is my family, my partner Michelle and children Benjamin and Samantha. I have been involved with Mildura South Football Club for over 30 years as a player, coach, committee member and president. I have a keen interest in horse racing and also enjoy getting away to my cabin on the Darling River. Honesty and ethical behaviour is something that I have always prided myself on. I have lived in Sunraysia my whole life and call Irymple home. I come from a large Italian family with over 50 family members so I know how to converse with a large group of people and personalities. I have always been heavily involved with the Irymple football and cricket clubs, from playing, coaching, captaining teams and being a member on the committees. I am very passionate about both cricket and football and value that it feels like another family and has taught me to always be a team player. I have worked in other areas of sales throughout my working life but have always been very interested in real estate so jumped at the opportunity to work at Collie & Tierney in an industry I am passionate about. About us

Mildura has changed a lot in the past six decades….and it has certainly grown. People too have come and gone, but through all the change there has been at least one constant Collie & Tierney, a name synonymous with real estate in Sunraysia. George Collie Snr and Frank Tierney Snr were both working as real estate agents in 1950s Mildura and kept crossing paths regularly…remember Mildura was a lot smaller place in those days! The pair became great mates, looking after each other’s interests when one or the other was on holidays,or otherwise unable to undertake the task at hand. They were destined to team up, and they did, forming the Collie & Tierney partnership in the early 1950s. It was a collaboration fated to succeed, with George initially concentrating on rural property and machinery sales, while Frank’s focus was residential sales, valuing and auctioneering. The pair always maintained that their success was due in no small measure to them being best mates. In time, their respective sons, George Jnr and Frank Jnr, would follow in their fathers’ footsteps, further strengthening a flourishing family business. And they too, would go on to leave an indelible mark on the real estate industry here. Collie & Tierney have been involved in so many of the ‘big deals’ done to facilitate Mildura’s expansion during the past 65 years it would be nigh on impossible to list them all, but some standouts include the Mildura Centre Plaza (now Mildura Central) development; Kmart and the Coles New World Supermarket; Sovereign Park Estate and the Deakin Boulevard Estate. The company joined the First National Real Estate network in 1984, further extending its capabilities to work for its clients, and reserving a seat at the cutting edge of the industry. Collie & Tierney is a company that has spent the past 65 years looking forward, and relishing the challenges along the way. The firm has carved itself an enviable reputation for honesty and integrity in all its dealings, and the current directors see no reason to change a formula that has underpinned its industry success for so long. However, some change is a fact of life, and Collie & Tierney have always had the foresight and the flexibility to embrace changes in the industry, especially technological change. There is no doubt real estate is a much-changed industry in the 21st century. But, while it is relatively easy to fast track the integration of new technologies for example, there is one thing that no amount of technological wizardry can account for experience. Experience is earned… it takes time and effort, and it is something the Collie & Tierney team is very proud of their track record of industry success stretching back to the middle of last century. And, they have a proverbial ‘cupboard full of silver’ to prove it! With 65 years behind them, today’s Collie & Tierney First National Real Estate team has the experience much of it passed down from the founders that will stand them in good stead for the next six decades.

Excellent Agent

Sam has been extremely good to work with, he was by far one of the best agents I have dealt with, he was professional but very approachable and friendly, kept me well informed on the progress of my sale and went above and beyond to assist the sale( even sweeping my yard) he negotiated an excellent price for me, I can highly recommend him, be my first choice when next looking for property, thank you Sam appreciate your work

Seamless experience

From start to finish, Glen ensured the highest level of communication and made us feel incredibly relaxed throughout the whole process of selling our first home. His market knowledge is extensive to say the least and his professionalism matched his friendly nature, making us feel completely at ease. He achieved a result above our expectations within a very short timeframe (on market to sold within 2 weeks) and we can’t speak highly enough of his service - 5 stars is not enough!

Patrick was very kind and quick to get back to you with any questions that you had.

Knowledgeable on the property and would find out if he didn’t know straight away, I felt that some things were withheld prior to having paperwork signed but he was there to help me and made sure I understood everything and was flexible on additional inspection days and times
