I’m sure it’s unusual for a buyer to rate an agent - they don’t work for me, and are obliged to have the seller’s interests at heart. However, I can wholeheartedly recommend Martine and David as the people to deal with. A bit of background - we were downsizing from the large family home, and found the perfect one being sold through Martine. We’d not bought or sold a home in actual decades, so were novices, and coupled with some friends’ horror stories, were completely unprepared stepping into this world. Martine put us at ease straight away, we had plenty of time over our visits so we were sure we were making the right choice. We felt very fairly negotiated with, and advice was given to us to ensure we were kept informed of the stages - greatly appreciated. And that’s just the business side of it. What I found was that Martine sees the property as more than just a thing to be bought and sold - she knows that it was someone’s much loved home, and that we were looking for something to be our much loved home. Her service was impeccable, she tolerated with great humour and politeness my silly questions, and understood what was important to us. As an example, she very kindly arranged a viewing for our visiting (adult) children so they could see the new family home. Knowing the people as well as knowing the property is what sets her apart, and I would not hesitate to give my recommendation based on our experience. Thank you!
