About Jodie

Jodie has been involved in property sales, marketing and management her whole working life. She enjoys sharing with clients the benefit of her 20 years' experience in all aspect of real estate with her management, sales and property management back ground. Jodie enjoys knowing that her customers and clients alike have always experienced a fun and enjoyable time working with her, whilst delivering outstanding results through a high level of professionalism. Jodie previously owned and operated her own real estate business in Banyo for 7 years, successfully building this and selling to a large national real estate franchise. She has made real estate her life's work and her diverse experience has provided her with the skills and real estate know-how to handle all situations that come her way. Jodie also enjoys giving back to the community volunteering her time helping the kids at the local school and proudly supports the Make a Wish Foundation. Jodie is very client focused and knows how to grow and maintain a client base. She can handle any conflict situation that may present itself and she has a comprehensive understanding of the legislation, guidelines and trust accounting regulations that need to be met, to deliver industry best practice service and outcomes. On Jodie's time off she likes to spend it with her supportive husband of 20 years and her 2 beautiful girls going to the beach, movies or fun day trips to the theme parks or BBQ with good friends. Jodie values her family and works hard to be a good role model to her girls.

About Luanne

Luanne looks after all income and disbursements for Affinity's property portfolio. Within this role she ensures all tenants rental payments are receipted, she follows up any tenants falling into arrears and she ensures all landlords receive disbursements of funds on their scheduled mid-month and end of month payments. Luanne has previously run her own successful property management company in Mount Gravatt and has more than 10 years' experience in property management. She has also been involved in sales administration and office management. Luanne has bought and sold many homes including one that she and her husband designed & built themselves. She has had the pleasure of owning investment property and understands what it means to be a landlord and the importance of maximising owner cash flow. Luanne enjoys spending time with her young family and keeping fit and active with family surfing and mountain climbing sessions. Her role within Affinity Property allows her to continue being the mother and wife she loves to be with the flexibility of working in a friendly supportive working environment.

About Kyle

Kyle Tether is a terrific asset to our Affinity Property Team as he brings with him a fresh new approach. With having completed a Certificate IV in Property Services, Kyle is enthusiastic to learn and experience all aspects of the Real Estate Industry. He is committed to continually learn and grow to broaden his range of skills. Kyle's dedication to growing the rental business at Affinity Property is apparent in the way he goes above and beyond the duties that outlined in his job description. He knows that building trust with his Landlords is of most importance; one conversation with Kyle and you instantly know he cares and he can be trusted to help you. His honesty and commitment to hard work shines through. Kyle loves spending time with his family and he has travelled to Bali, Fiji, Thailand and Europe. About Sean

Sean is the Company Founder and Managing Director of Affinity Property Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (UQ) and is also a licensed Real Estate Agent and Principal and Licensee for Affinity Property. Sean is an Accredited Member of REIQ and a long-term member of UDIA QLD. Sean has over 20 years of experience in the property sector and he is passionate about helping other members of his team grow and develop professionally. He enjoys helping young individuals learn about the process for saving and buying their first home; helping investors understand how to find a good investment property and how to avoid bad investments. Sean has project managed the delivery of more than $250 million in residential projects over the last 10 years. He established Moreton Bay Region Housing Company Ltd, (a not-for-profit affordable housing company with more than $180 million in assets under management) in 2009. Sean formerly worked with Accor Hotel Group and managed a portfolio of 15 hotels across Queensland and the Northern Territory - employing more than 1,100 people. During his 20 years working in the property sector, Sean has project managed the development and delivery of four senior living residential projects valued at more than $80 million. Previously in his professional services career with Ernst & Young, Sean provided business management consulting services to various clients including Heritage Building Society, where he helped improve their banking and credit card services to win 'Money' magazines best credit card and home loan products within 2 years. Early in his career, Sean was the Operations & Personnel Manager at ANZ Stadium Brisbane. In 1992 - 1993 Sean managed operations for Brisbane Broncos home games and major concerts with artists such as U2 and Madonna. Professionally he aims to continue development of a 'best in class' diversified property group that provides great service to clients and fantastic opportunities for staff, investors and other key stakeholders.

Awesome to deal with - highly recommended

We had our property managed by another agency that kept letting us down. We then changed to Affinity and wished we did so from the beginning. Affinity would have saved us $1000's. We have mainly dealt with Jodie, Luanne and Kyle who have been amazing. Highly recommended. Save yourself time, stress and money. Get these guys to manage your property.

Worst experience had with a real estate company

The initial experience with this company was fine, communication was good until the lease was signed and money paid. After that things went bad. The worst part though was getting out. They put things on the exit report that were noted on the entry report and tried arguing the fact and requested the photos. Luckily I had saved everything. It was actually said to me that he never passes anyone on the first exit check and pulled us up on things like dust underneath the bottom kitchen drawer. The bond was a huge hassle and in the end they deducted $450 from our bond for some very minor damage that I am confident we did not do. As the communication dropped off and they never replied to emails or phone calls it took over 3 months to find out this fact and I was so sick and stressed from dealing with this company that I am not going to fight the fact. But I caution anyone signing a contract with this company.

Fantastic Agency! Very professional and extremely competent team.

We are absolutely delighted with the team at Affinity Property. They are very professional and have done a great job looking after our property.
