I used Penny Schouten to sell my home in The Swan Valley and she was outstanding. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on their listings, knowledge and experience of semi rural properties as well as how much of an investment they would be willing to make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. Penny and the HKY Team stood out as the best choice I could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. I spoke with Penny at our home and she spent the time to answer all my questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, info on comps in the area and a marketing strategy to sell my property. I was initially concerned that our house might take a long time to sell given the state of the realestate market. However Penny's knowledge and experience selling rural properties on acreage was invaluable. Penny made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps many other Realestate agent don't (but should) as most seemed to just want to get the listing and not do any work. When I saw my listing on the internet I was blown away. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - the listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition. I had one home open and the second buyer that saw the property put in an offer. My house went under contract with in a few weeks of being on the market. Penny walked me through every step of the closing process. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. I've recommended Penny and the HKY Team to everyone I know.
