I was fortunate enough to have wisely chosen John to sell my property in Yarraville 4 years ago under extremely difficult circumstances. At that time I was absolutely impressed by his honesty, commitment, communication, ethic and sympathetic approach to selling the property. So when it came to selling my house in Geelong West John was definitely in the mix of potential sales consultants along with several local agents. After much debate with friends and family – predominantly over concerns with respect to market knowledge and price (as John was slightly more expensive). I went with the agent I knew and trusted. I entrusted John to advise me on all aspects of the sale, including house prep – which was absolutely outstanding (special thanks to Rob and his team) - his choice in staging team, and his chosen photography package. During the campaign his commitment was unwavering! He was strategic and tenacious, following up all interested parties on the day of the opens. He was friendly, welcoming, polite and honest to all the potential and non-potential buyers, none of whom had bad word to say against him. He was always happy to answer questions from both myself and the people who came to view 30 O’Connell street. And, after a carefully considered sales campaign, John achieved a result far better than I could have ever wished for. What a refreshing, pleasant and quite delightful experience dealing with George, Andy and Jas Stephens during the campaign that was the sale of our property in Seddon. Having been reccommended to George and Andy from an insider in the Real Estate industry, we certainly had cause and confidence that we would experience a high level of trust, competence, ability and knowledge. And isn't it just so liberating when your experience utterly exceeds your expectations? This is most certainly what we experienced with George Alexander and Andy Simpson. On our personal list of expectations was that our agents would have to be willing to really work hard in order to maximise the outcome on auction day. George and Andy ticked this box, and then some. We could not have been happier with the campaign. We have sold several ppty's over the years and this one would be the easiest of them all. Branko came in and took control right from the beginning, communication was perfect, there were no questions to ask at the end of the day. Highly professional and always washed up well in his blue suites. No hesitation to use again and would recommend him 100%. The only thing he didn't do was help with the house work prior to open/auction:) One more thing to mention to sellers always go to auctions of the particular agent you may want to use and watch them in action, Branko was great that's why we went with him & the team at Jas Stephens. I've always treated real estate agents with a fair dose of suspicion so when returning to the property market,asked I knew I would be forced to deal with yet another pushy, manipulative sales person. What I found with John was the complete opposite, upfront and accomodating throughout, I never felt pressured or as though I was being "sold" to. We arranged a private inspection with minimal fuss, and also attended two other opens all of which were conducted professionally and immaculately. It wasn't until I attended some other opens until I recognise the level of detail John and the owners had gone to to present the property in the best possible light. John did what most agents fail to do, let the property sell itself by being the star of the show. From my experience, typical agents want all the attention to themselves.

My first impression of George was that he was genuine. That opinion didn't change but was confirmed through our campaign. He never gave us false figures, didn't pressure us at all and did what he could to make sure that we were comfortable at all times. On auction day with a very slow auction he gave it everything and we were happy with the results. I would definitely sell through him again and would recommend him to anyone looking to sell their home.
