Dean arranged an off-market inspection while we still had some minor renovations underway, and a week later the buyer made a very solid offer. I cannot understate the value in selling off-market - we saved several thousand dollars in costs and did not have to deal with intrusive and stressful open house inspections. More importantly, the purchase price achieved was near the upper bound of our expectations, and Dean handled some of the buyers' building inspection issues with considerable tact.
