As someone not being to Canberra for long, McGrath is one of the best experience I have had in my quest to look for a place to rent. The estate agent on site was very lovely and welcoming. She was full of smiles and gave all the information I needed to know on the properties. Being approved for one of the properties was awesome and am happy to be renting from McGrath. I've been renting my property through Mc Grath for the past 7 years and Emma has been wonderful to deal with since taking over as property manager in the past 12 months. She's professional, responsive, and efficeintly arranges quotes for any required repairs. My tenant recently advised she would be moving out and within days Nina had listed the property for rent, receieved multiple applications and made a recommendation for a new tenant who offered to pay more than expected to secure the lease. To be perfectly honesty, I have been through 4-5 property managers in the last year, in the time from when my tennant moved out I did not receive 1 call and when’s new prospective viewings happened I left 3 messages in the office and emails to the property manger handing the property at the time to call me to discuss some new application and heard nothing, we lost the initial 3 that applied due to lack of communication, in the end I had Nina take over the property she had and inspection followed up found a tennant and exceeded my expectations $ wise which was great but overall not a very flattering service from a well know brand and coming from over 20 years in the industry myself and still in the industry I believe there is massive room from improvement and is a substandard service.
