McDonald Upton recently helped us with the sale of my mother's Essendon home, a home that had been in the family for almost seventy years. Our initial meeting was with Paul McDonald. He wasn't the only agent approached. Like most of the others interviewed, he showed a professional enthusiasm for the task and a keen understanding of Essendon's Real Estate climate. Unlike the others, his approach was low key, straightforward and for want of a better word, honest. Akin to a trusted family retainer. In other circumstances you'd be happy to call him friend. As the campaign progressed we were continually kept in the loop and it was clear that he, Rhys and the team behind them were hard at it. This was borne out when, on the day of the auction, half of Melbourne turned out for the event. The result was very satisfactory, both for ourselves and, I believe, for the purchaser.
