I engaged Darcy Lord's services when I received knowledge of my Mother wanting to sell her property. Before that Mum had other agents come in from other agencies to valuate the property. The experiences from these other agents from other agencies other than Place Real Estate, were negative and did not instil a positive sense of confidence that she was getting an honest appraisal. Once I asked for Darcy to come out and meet with my Mother he was more than happy. We both met with Darcy and automatically we could see a well presented professional demeanour and attitude. We sat after Darcy inspected the property and he then gave his honest appraisal. It was well above what other agencies were offering Mum. He then explained in detail how he came to that appraisal and broke it down so Mum and I both immediately understood the market and the approach in regards to selling real estate. He was not rushed and took his time with his brief, extremely professional!!! Mum and I felt very at ease with Darcy and felt very confident that he had Mums best interest at heart. I am a former Australian Defence Force (Army) Sergeant and now conduct a lot of training and lectures in the private security sector. I believe I am a good judge of character, integrity, loyalty, competence, capability, knowledge, empathy, appearance, punctuality, motivation, trustworthiness and most importantly professionalism. It is the first thing I see in a person when conducting business. Darcy has all these traits and more! I am most happy to highly recommend his services to anyone in the future.
