We had an initial meeting with Alex at the house on Saturday afternoon, 2nd April 2016. The initial impression was very good and he has convinced me 100% that he was the right person to market and sell our house. He is young, dynamic and full of enthusiasm. His personality suits the job he is doing and he appeared to enjoy and love what he was doing. He is very knowledgeable and what that impressed me most is he did his research and homework well before he came to meet us. We did have meetings with two other Agents but after the meeting with Alex, I truly believe he was the right person to help us to sell the house at the optimum price. For context we have been selling a number of properties over the last six months in various states, and hence have been forced to use different agents for each sale. We live interstate, and were expecting the arrival of our third child during the sale process. I can unequivocally say that Charles, and the broader team at Alex KarBon are in a league of there own. Right from the kernel of the idea to sell to the auction day the professionalism and knowledge of North Melbourne gave my wife and I the greatest confidence in the fact we had made the right choice in selecting Charles for the sale. Charles and the team kept us informed all the way through the process, despite the fact we were often difficult to track down, we needed to trust Charles as a master of his industry, and he proved through his actions, communication and guidance throughout the process that he truly is. Charles and his team assisted us greatly and turned the experience from a potential stress creator, to a genuinely enjoyable experience, especially as he was able to secure a price we were happy with. I really cannot speak highly enough of our experience, my only regret is that we couldn't realistically engage Charles and Alex KarBon to represent us in the NT and Queensland. When I think about what I needed in an agent: trust, market knowledge, care, great communication, tenacity, marketing - I can't imagine how Alex KarBon could have done a better job. My apartment was under 40square metres interior area and leased for 10 months, which limited the market when things were on the decline. Timing was not ideal, but I had to sell it. Alex and his team worked very hard to get a better outcome than anticipated. He's also cool headed easy to talk to and makes it easy to understand some of the complexities of real estate.
