We cannot praise highly enough the whole Ray White Cheltenham team with a special mention to Arron Westley who was Kevin's right hand man and it was very pleasing in that virtually the whole team attended the auction to assist including the CEO Mark Guthrie. The property being sold belonged to my wife's parents and her father prior to his retirement had owned and operated a very successful independent real estate agency based in Cheltenham. We know he would have been very pleased in the manner in which Kevin and the team managed the marketing and auction of their family home. The results of the auction speak for themselves. We set the reserve based on professional valuations, plus our own knowledge of selling prices of similar properties in the same street in the past 12 months. The property sold for a record price and $420,000 above reserve. At least 150 people attended the auction with 10 different bidders. Over 24,000 people viewed the property on line and 106 groups attended the open homes. The whole process of selling our home was just so easy we literally didn't have to worry about a thing. We felt Kevin's advice on how to best present our home was the most helpful and it certainly looked amazing come campaign time. The marketing was perfect, and with a great internet campaign including social media we had even more inquiries. I initially selected Ray White to take over selling my property based on the first phone call I received from Kevin . I wasn't living in Australia at the time and he was the only who called me and talked to me instead of just emailing me . Kevin spent a fair amount of time going through the process with me and provide me with different options even before me signing the contract with him ! I then received constant updates and again ' Phone Calls ' , which made the process less stressful and I felt closer to the whole experience . Kevin has a great knowledge of the area and can always provide you with an insight . He is at the same time provides you with a very realistic view . Cant say enough of the way Kevin operates. He works with a dedicated and professional team and they all work well together. Kevin is a wiz in the Auction environment and he has the ability work the Auction situation really well to really push the envelope. His work at our Auction was unbelievable and he managed to even get high praise from the person who purchased the property , despite her just having paid top price because Kevin managed to keep the Auction going for the highest price possible. I was told there were over 80 bids. Our family are most impressed with the result and the final price raised was thousands above expectations and well above the Auction Reserve. The result was also higher than pre Auction valuation estimates. The team at Ray White knew their stuff and were well prepared. I would recommend this team to anyone and now having realised what skill Kevin has, I'd seek out Kevin's expertise for any future property sale because not only did he manage to get the job done with best results, he also exhibits compassion that I am sure is based on very strong local knowledge and a genuine understanding of the personal need of the Vendor and the potential need of the Purchaser, relative to the property.
