Karl and his team were very professional, our home sold in record time with the highest price in our street! We settled in 2 weeks and it was a stress-free experience. Our removalist didn't show up and Karl rang around to find a replacement. Who does that these days? We'd experienced Twomey Scriber as buyers, that's why we decided on them. They were on time for inspections and didn't ask buyers to put up their sign, like some! I can highly recomment Karl and Twomey Schriber, Cairns. I will be using them in the future.

Shira has been an extremely helpful, friendly and approachable agent to deal with right from the get go. After receiving a visit from our eldest daughter and her husband (Amanda and Shane) from Western Australia in July 2021, they convinced us as we are 'young dinosaurs' we should down size and spend the rest of our life in enjoyment and not doing house hold maintenance chores. Every time I looked at the house I could see the maintenance as never ending. So we took their advice and decided to sell after looking at what Botanical Life Style Village offered. We were so impressed! The next stage we had to select a real estate agent. We were apprehensive at first on who to select. We received a recommendation that Karl Latham and his team from Twomey Schriber Property Group would be the person to help us. We were very impressed with his knowledge, experience and expertise with his marketing skills. He listened to our requirements regarding the need for us to remain in our current home until the new home is being built. Factors that he had to consider, was that we had a dog, my workshop had a large range of machinery and timber to be relocated and we did not want to enter into a rental situation for a double move. The house was put on the market and sold very quickly. When Karl came to our house he presented the offers. We did not take the highest offer as we would have had to vacate the house in two months. We took the second highest offer as we could stay in the current house until our new home had been built. This gave us peace of mind as we could take our time and not have to worry about a rental situation (we are paying a low rent to the new owner). He presented each offer and pointed out the variations. We thought that Karl had exceptional negotiation skills to suit the Seller and Buyer. We would have no hesitation in recommending Karl and his team from Twomey Schriber Property Group for anyone interested in buying, selling or renting.
