Professional and positive, Tim took the stress out of buying!
I began looking for a property in August, 2017, and met Tim not long afterwards, when he showed me through a North Cairns apartment. At the time, I found him very professional, both in appearance and manner, and also very positive, with a constant smile.
However, I didn’t purchase the property, but after one and a half years of searching, I finally found an older, renovated unit in Edge Hill, my favourite Cairns neighbourhood, at a price I could afford. The agent was again Tim.
Aware that I’d been searching for over 18 months, Tim was more than keen to help out! He negotiated a settlement that provided a win-win outcome, both for the seller, who was able to proceed with the confidence that the contract wasn’t subject to finance, and me, who was able to secure the property at a cheaper price than advertised, giving me enough left over to furnish it.
Tim said he’d hold my hand all the way through the sale process, and sometimes I wished he would, literally, as purchasing property is not something I do every day. But he was there for me via phone, sms, email, or in person, whenever the need arose. He responded promptly and professionally to messages, and nothing was ever a problem.
Following settlement, when Tim handed me the keys (in a red box with a ribbon!), he also presented me with a bottle of champagne (not just sparkling wine). I feel like Tim and I should drink it together, he for finally securing a sale for a nervous and hesitant buyer, and me for achieving my dream of owning an Edge Hill apartment! Thank you, Tim.
