We meet Karl again when he was selling our neighbours house, which our son was interested in buying,Karl sent us the engineering report on the house which was very helpful. He kept us informed after each Open House which was only 2 which we were very grateful. (they are terrible trying to keep your house tidy) Even after the sale Karl has kept in contact which is lovely, he has explained many things with the contract as its been nearly 40 years since we have sold a house. In most things I have the belief that if you want something done right you do it yourself and this was the case in 1988. My first encounter with Lea was for less than a minute, at our front door, when she dropped by our house with some information about herself & LJ Hooker, pending an appointment we had arranged with her in a couple of days’ time. Upon returning inside, I commented to my wife that she will like Lea & I‘d be very surprised if we didn’t engage her to sell our home at Robina. Two days later, after we’d had meetings with three other agents, we both met with Lea. She impressed us with her very approachable manner & professionalism which gave us confidence in her ability to have a similar effect on prospective buyers. Her local knowledge of the market & genuine belief in her ability to achieve maximum price in a timely manner made it a simple decision for us to agree to appoint her as our agent later that Thursday afternoon. By Friday afternoon, she had our property listed on a number of websites, she had emailed her database advising of an open house the next morning. By mid-afternoon Saturday, Lea called us with an update on the open house. We were taken aback to hear that she had 4 prospective buyers with the highest offer exceeding our expectations. Within two days she had presented us with a signed contract with terms as agreed over the phone on Saturday. Never have we experienced such a fantastic result in such a short space of time. The credit must go largely to Lea for her enthusiasm, hard work & professional ability in achieving this fantastic outcome. From the first day I met Conrad at my door, he impressed me as a genuine young man and after a few more visits when we were really considering selling our house we had no hesitation in choosing this agent. I never thought that I would ever be glad to see another Estate Agent on my doorstep, but Conrad was an exception. He obviously had an extremely good knowledge of the our area, and at no time did he ever become obtrusive. In fact I found him to be very professional in his manner. Once we accepted his help he guided us through the preparation of arranging things in the house. He had very stringent rules about lights being on, placement of furniture etc.. Before each inspection he would arrive early and go right through the house checking out the fine details. I can remember once saying to my wife as Conrad came up the drive, "Stand by your beds!" - nothing escaped his eye. There were some very difficult buyers but Conrad obviously had good negotiating skills, was very strong, and consequently had the sale done very quickly. We would have no hesitation in recommending this man to anyone who is really sincere about selling their house, we could not speak more highly of his manners, his professionalism and who enjoys making people happy from a good deal.
