We picked John Bradley from Stone real estate after seeing him help a number of other properties in the neighbourhood sell for well above expectations. Unfortunately our timing wasn’t great as the market had softened due to the interest rates starting to climb back up. We were concerned we wouldn’t achieve what we felt our property was worth in comparison to recent sales but John was confident he could get us a good price. John quickly organised a number of open houses to gauge the market. John held two open houses the first weekend plus one during the week to let those unable to come on Saturday’s. we received our first offer after only 8 days and after a little negotiation we had a contract. Timing is everything. After months of preparation our first open for inspection was scheduled for Saturday 26 February. Terrible rains and flooding occurred. Our home was watertight so John proceeded - umbrellas at the ready. Five brave groups inspected, three contracts offered and one contract accepted.
