I had a very disappointing experience dealing with Pardeep Singh from Area Specialist when purchasing my brand-new home. Before proceeding with the purchase, I specifically discussed the landscaping, side fencing and gate with him. I was told that these works would be arranged and completed. My understanding was that the owner had already paid for these works as part of the property arrangement. Before signing the contract, I also raised this issue with my conveyancer, who contacted Pardeep by email. Pardeep again confirmed that he would arrange the landscaping and the side fence and gate. Based on these assurances, we proceeded with the contract and settlement, and the property was transferred into our name. Unfortunately, after settlement, the promised work was still not completed. Despite repeatedly contacting Pardeep and asking when the landscaping and fencing would be done, there was little to no follow-up. My conveyancer also contacted him again, and he again indicated that he would arrange the work, but nothing was completed. What concerns me most is that, from my understanding, money had already been paid by the owner for the landscaping and fencing, yet the work was never completed after settlement. I cannot comment on where that money ultimately went, but the fact remains that the work I was promised was not delivered. The lack of communication after the sale was extremely disappointing. Calls were not answered and commitments were not followed through. In my personal experience, I found the process unprofessional and very frustrating. I strongly recommend that anyone dealing with Pardeep Singh make sure every promise is clearly documented in the contract before signing, rather than relying on verbal assurances.
