First thing we noticed about Oresti was how completely on top of his brief he was, he knew an enormous amount about the property and the whole area and happily answered all questions. On the few occasions he didn't know the answer he phoned immediately to obtain the information from the vendor or his office. Never did he wing it, he always worked on the basis of solid fact. So we immediately started to form an opinion of him that he was trustworthy and capable. Second thing we noticed was that in interacting with us and others at open house that he was businesslike but never pressuring, and also has a sense of humour. We noticed that other people enjoyed interacting with him. The mere fact that the vendor had employed him after he had originally sold the home to them was a good sign. Thirdly, he always appears well groomed and dressed and he and his agency have a strong corporate identity with attention to all details from car signage to printed advertising to email and correspondence layout to office presentation. Fourthly his many years of experience in the industry and the particular area where we bought was obvious and helpful.

John was great and knew my Mother who lived in Emerald Lagoon. When the house was first put on the market we requested $650K but John put it on for offers over $650K and we had to let him know we did not request that and after a week he said we are not getting clients thru...price is not correct.!! We did consult with John and said is this price OK?? He agreed!!! We said to John we never allowed you to advertise offers over $650K and we then, after not alot of interest we lowered the price to $630k John knew how important it was to respect my mothers privacy and was disappointed that he showed his wife my mothers home....not professional in my opinion. I had to text or call John a few times a week for updates which I found frustrating. But he is a lovely person & gave great feedback when I called. When the house was sold we were elated. We let the lady have quotes for carpets and painting as John asked and we said that was fine. John also asked if she could drop some plants & boxes off before settlement. I arrived on settlement day at 11 am to see the garage full of boxes and plants outside which some were there prior. There were boxes and plants dropped off before settlement which was not OK with us..just the principal!! I felt disappointed as this was difficult enough moving my Mother into a home. I also was not happy that the new client was using my Mothers power to paint the home! But apart from all that John was a true professional. A lovely man & wanted the best for my mother. I would recommend John to anyone. Just a few more updates would be great. He is a great real estate in our opinion and would recommend him to any one!
