Knowledgeable, Busy House sold too fast.
Trusting Nigel from previous experience, I recommended him to my 72 year old, Legally Blind friend who wanted to sell his home. The house sold too fast. It was only on the market for 4 days when an Offer came in, unfortunately, less than the asking price.
Nigel recommended to my friend to accept the Offer, because; not many came to the Home Open, the house was on a busy street & only a 3 x 2 x 2; so my friend, to my surprise & dismay, accepted the Offer. And was very happy the house was sold.
Unfortunately, the aim was to get as much as possible during this excellent Housing Sale period. He had to cover the thousands spent on renovations, advertising & paying Nigel his commission. The remaining money, was to pay off all my friends debts and mortgage, to be able to live independently with assistance, purchase aids to assist him and have savings enough for a 1 bedroom unit, but sadly not all was achieved.
Nigel is a very good real-estate agent, knowledgeable & negotiated well with the buyers however, it is a busy time for him. I would have liked the Offer to be over the amount as asked and / or had a few more Home Opens to reach the people who were away during Easter /School holidays. Thank you
