I found Hamish online as he was the selling agent for a similar property in the same area as ours (Crows Nest). We live in Melbourne and therefore nearly all communication was via phone, SMS and email with the exception of one meeting when I was in Sydney prior to commencement of the marketing stage. Despite this geographical constraint, I always felt like I was fully aware of everything going on during the marketing stage and the eventual sale. Hamish is an excellent communicator, keeping me updated with numerous calls each week to describe what was happening during the marketing process. He was also very good at managing expectations and talking through the process to ensure we were focused on the right thing during each stage. We eventually sold prior to auction for a price which exceeded our expectation and I can only put this down to all the hard work Hamish did during the marketing stage as he built close relationships with interested buyers whish ensured that when offers came in, he was able to negotiate very effectively with the right buyers to get the best price for us. Hamish was also extremely helpful in getting the administrative and legal obligations bedded down with us, going above and beyond to get everything wrapped up with lawyers and the buyer efficiently. I highly recommend Hamish as a selling agent, he is great to work with and you can be confident that he will get the best possible result for your property sale.

Throughout the whole process, Hamish was a pleasure to deal with. We found him to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much of an ask and he was always transparent and honest with us, and the process. Additionally, he was very timely in getting back to us, and this proved to be a big help, especially when 20 minutes can cost you a purchase!! Although I was an unsuccessful bidder at auction i can not recommend Hamish enough as an agent. I had dealt with him on several occasions leading up to auction and believe every bit of advice he gave me as a first home buyer to be honest and educational. His communication is excellent, and was happy to take the time to explain everything from strata reports to how auctions work and make himself available all hours of the day. He made the experience of buying a home a lot less daunting and made it an enjoyable one to remember. Post auction Hamish continued to stay in touch with similar properties till he linked me in with another agent at his company who also helped me just as well and got me in to my new home. I can not recommend Hamish enough as he was by far the most genuine real estate agent I have dealt with in the year leading up to me purchasing my new home, I will use him and his team for any future real estate ventures.

David was very attentive to my needs and communicated well in helping me purchase my first home. Him and his team went above and beyond to meet my busy schedule and arrange viewings/meetings out of hours. I believe them to be honest and hard working for both the seller and buyer. I will pursue their services in the future as they are very transparent with their actions and were willing to answer all my questions along the way having not been through this process before.

We were selling a family-owned unit which had been managed by Raine and Horne, Neutral Bay. We'd been extremely happy with the management by the same agent, Vince Parisi for about thirty years! But it was time to sell, although we were reluctant, as the unit was going to require some repairs to external windows and balcony. Although it looked like a difficulty, David Buttel was honest and upfront with all the prospective buyers, and gave us good, realistic feedback through the whole process. He has been in the area for more than twenty years, is polite, straight talking and very real. I'm really grateful that a process I was dreading was made so painless. He sold the unit for us before auction, after just a week on the market. I'm sure all concerned came out very happily.

We recently dealt with David with regards to a property we were interested in and were successful in purchasing at auction. At all times in our dealings with David he was efficient, friendly and professional with obvious local knowledge.
