Julie was a pleasure to deal with. Her communication was excellent. She was informative and constructive and always prompt in acting. My concerns with the transaction were not because of Julie, but because of the way real estate practices are in Queensland, namely: . the property was offered at a fixed price, which we said we would meet without conditions. I had expected that would be the deal done, but apparently that is not the way things work in Queensland. . Julie asked us to sign a contract, despite the fact that the vendor was still open to receive and accept higher offers. Apparently, this is again common in Queensland, but there was no way I would agree to that. To Julie's credit, she was calm and practical in dealing with us on these two issues and eventually rang the vendor and got agreement that our offer would be accepted.
