Jay was very thorough in explaining the current market, how he would approach the sale of our house, the need to paint throughout in a neutral colour and to declutter. We put in place everything that he suggested. The sale price was lower than our lowered hopes but we took the first reasonable offer instead of risking a long wait in the current circumstances. All in all a good outcome for us. The house was on the market for around 3 weeks.

The agent was helpful with answering my questions as a purchaser. The agent has good market knowledge and as the market was falling his local market knowledge was necessary to gain agreement on the settlement price. I used a different settlement agent to the one the agent recommended and the agent was good to work with my settlement agent. I had some after settlement problems with an unfair duty assessment from the department of st state revenue. The agent was good to help resolve these issues despite the settlement being finalised and I was appreciative of the additional help.from Jay Standley.
