I have come across and dealt with many real estate agents in my life. It is fair to say most do an adequate job, but there are exceptions. David Wood is one such exception. I first encountered David when we sought to purchase a property in Albert Park Victoria. Doing so as an investment, David gave us sound advice on the market and rental ability as part of his making the sale. While working for the vendor of the day to secure the sale, he also worked on our behalf ensuring we had the correct market information about rental expectations so we could make a sound financial decision. Having then purchased the property through him, he ensured we were properly and professionally serviced in finding suitable tenants at above the market rate for the day. Fast forward 6 years and we recently engaged David to sell that same property. Again his ethic about correctly advising us on the market pricing , ensuring we had realistic expectations and delivering a strategy to obtain the best outcome was above reproach. Naturally David does not work alone. He is backed by others in Hocking Stuart organisation and collectively they achieved a sale price for us ahead of those expectations. Stephanie Evans deserves special commendation in her diligence and support to David in this sale.
