Lauchlan made a real effort to keep in touch, and also made every effort to meet our needs, and to tailor the offerings to get the best from that and what his wide knowledge felt best. He was willing to discuss all areas and compromise where necessary, and always kept us in the loop. He went above and beyond, and respected our interest and views, and we were delighted with his service and the outcome. Even during the VIC Covid-19 he was contacting me with updates, or even just to check in, and was happy to communicate and be very responsive through any medium - phone, text and email. When I met Lauchlan first as a buyer I was impressed by his knowledge of the area and the market in general. His helpful, matter of fact style, stood out from the other agents I had encountered that day who had been either been disinterested or verging on aggressive. Over the years he stayed in touch, updating me as other apartments in the block sold. Covid-19 for me meant being stood down without pay from my job in travel, then the tenant advised they would be breaking lease 11 months early, and the bank would not refinance. So the time had come to sell the property as quickly as possible. Lauchlan looked after the logistics of getting the property staged, photographed and on the market while I remained interstate. From the date the tenants moved out to the date final settlement took place was an incredible 10 weeks. His initial rough guide sell price given in early April, without having seen the property in 7 years, was within 5% of the actual sale price. Remarkable given the estimate from the agency which was managing the property at the time was off by almost 20%. He is reliable, has great communication skills and I cannot recommend him more highly.
