We write this review on the back of an attempt to sell our home 2 months earlier using a different agent. The results and experience were chalk and cheese - I never thought the agent could dictate your personal experience of the sale process so much but Matthew showed that they really can, and it's not all about the final number in this market. Matthew was open, honest and transparent about the process at all times. He did not raise our expectations, and when it came time to bring buyers together before auction, he did so without aggression, keeping them close and bringing us a price much better than we had expected (and indeed $96,000 / 10% more than the prior agent was pushing us to accept). He also didn't push anything on us - it was simple - we got an update when necessary, and information presented simply and concisely when a decision needed to be made. There was no pushy recommendations or touting his experience to try to get us to make the sale early. At one point prior to auction he was honest about our risks of not accepting an earlier offer and losing out, and we went along with his gut feel that we could do better - and we did significantly so. Very happy and would 100% recommend to all sellers particularly in the Cremorne Point region where is knowledge and appreciation of the area is second to none

It is with pleasure that I write this reference for David Benjafield, of Belle Property, Neutral Bay. We had decided to put our North Sydney Investment property on the market, in October this year with the intention of going to Auction just before Christmas, realising we were in a falling Market period.
