He was easy to communicate with, was honest, and didn't over sell the property. He didn't partake in the usual games of setting low indicative price ranges to garner interest, and didn't add theatrics to the auction to build tension. When we met with the vendors of the property we purchased they also mentioned that the reason they chose Ken as their agent was due to his honesty and commitment to helping them sell their property.

I selected Ken because I appreciated his helpful attitude while I had been idly looking at a few properties for sale. He seemed willing to help me out with numbers, stats, and knowledge of the market even though I was pretty clear I wasn't looking to buy any time soon. So when it came time to sell my property, Ken seemed like the right guy; he'd be willing to put up with my endless questions and demands. And he did. Nice guy to be around, and completely helpful when it comes to selling your property.

Ken gave me good advice on what I should do to prepare my house for sale and saved me money by advising against spending time and money on some repair jobs. Ken sold me the property over a decade ago and in the period between buying and selling the property his 'diligence' in contacting me during that period ensured that he 'was the right person for the job' when it came to selling the property. He didn't let me down. He was amenable, willing, consistent and above all professional. The combination of Ken and the auctioneer Daniel Atsis, who did a marvellous job, ensured that I couldn't recommend Hocking Stuart more highly. They worked for me and the result of the sale was above my expectations.

Think Ken has a good understanding on all aspects of the sale process. His back-up should be upgraded though. Like most vendors, its unsure if any agent is acting for the vendor or a combination of purchaser/vendor when final price is being negotiated. I would use Ken again.
