I have nothing but praise for Stephen Tickell. I found him to be not only very professional, but very personable and kept me informed on every aspect regarding the sale of the property. He rang after every Open for Inspection to report on who went through, as well as a follow up email regarding interest in the property. He managed to settle before Auction at a price above what we expected, which was wonderful. I hadn't sold a property before and he took all the stress out of this complicated business. We recently entrusted the sale of our property in Hampton East to hockingstuart. We chose them because they offered a number of points of difference. - the sale was jointly administered by two local offices providing more coverage and expressions of interest from a wider catchment area. - the principal agents (Mandy Englehardt and Nick Renna) presented as a strong team. Both attended every open for inspection which was important as Nick was the auctioneer. - they presented a well-constructed marketing campaign. - a free service was offered which was of great assistance in presenting the property to the market in the best possible manner. Mandy and Nick worked really hard during the campaign. We received regular updates and were consulted as necessary when questions arose. We felt that the market had been fulling exposed come auction day. The auction itself couldn't have been better. Nick did an outstanding job and is truly a great auctioneer. We have no hesitation in recommending Mandy and Nick to any prospective seller.

Being based in Sydney, it was critical we had an agent who had a real understanding of the area and the current market. We also needed someone we could trust. We spoke to several agents and did our homework on who had the experience and track record of results. We also saw several auctioneers in action, including Steve. We've sold several properties over the years and we know you need to have the right agent and selling strategy to get the best price - it's not just a matter of running some ads. Steve gave us the right advice on how to present and market the property. A few days prior to the auction he also briefed us on his suggested strategy. Having Steve as our main agent during the campaign and also the auctioneer on the day was a great benefit. He had in-depth knowledge of all the likely bidders and their circumstances.
