Julian genuinely couldn't do enough to help. Ready to get dirty and help tidying the yard. Up for cleaning the dishes if we ran out of time. On the spot when and as needed with exactly what was required. You don't get a lot of that to the kilo in real estate agents. He is working and learning in what looks to be a 'best of breed' environment and doing an excellent job of it. Watch this space.

Sam is a man of considerable style. Don't let that fool you. He is also a man of considerable substance. Ours was a considered sale. Sam told us he would achieve a certain price for a couple of properties. I didn't believe him. He then proceeded to get the prices he said he would. We then started talking with him seriously. He listened. He was knowledgeable, realistic and offered smart options for what was initially a more complex than normal sale proposition. But the decision to sell a home is always an emotional one. We then made the emotional (gut) decision to trust Sam and follow his advice on timing, renovating, styling, advertising...the works. It was an excellent call. Throughout the process Sam and his people were responsive, communicated exceptionally well and took us to the auction feeling confident and comfortable, with a range of variables discussed and contingencies covered. The result was very close to Sam's prediction and we were more than happy. I've dealt with many agents over the years. Some were appalling. Some were decent. Sam has been by far the best. It sounds cheesy, but my advice if you are selling in this area is to trust Sam Inan.

I chose John Manning, director because I was impressed by his personable, energetic and confidant nature, providing me a realistic sale estimate of my home. Experienced directors of other firms in the area provided opinions of value between $1,600,000 - $2,500,000' I thought the high end was not achievable, and would result in the property passing in on a Vendors bid - As was borne out by three previous auctions I attended days before my auction date. Buyer interest was solid however, and John and his team worked the buyers hard, followed up, arranged tradesmen where necessary, let the builder inspections go through, constantly giving me feedback. John, was alwavs there for me and understood that I was nervous, and made himself available preauction when I needed him to run through all alternative scenarios. He assured me that he would not let the property go, agreed a vendors bid, when we would signal it is " on the market" and push the buyers into final bids. I can only say that his strategy was brilliant, he achieved a record sale and final result was S220,000 over reserve and exceeded my expectations.

John ran a very professional campaign. During the initial engagement he was very clear on expectations and processes. He was present at all the open for inspections which provided real continuity in terms of feedback and buyer interest.
