Selecting Lily Liaw to sell the home we built nearly 48 years ago was the right decision. Lily surprised us, when we were selecting the right agency, with her knowledge of the local market, the likely buyer group and how her agency would conduct their campaign. Lily was very personable and warm and we felt comfortable with her running the campaign. She articulated and implemented a well thought out program to promote the sale of our home, which we felt was appropriate. What was amazing was the way Lily organized the various players involved to play their part to initiate and sustain the program of promoting our home as the right house for another family. Lily was there whenever we needed her and she supported us through the entire process. When the Open House phase began she was there to complement our activities, and all went very smoothly. We had regular updates from Lily and she laid out how things were evolving – she was positive but she didn’t sugar coat the situation. When the recent Covid 19 lockdown was implemented, which directly impacted on our Open House and impending auction, Lily didn’t panic; she had a new plan which we discussed and she implemented seamlessly. When the right buyer presented themselves, Lily achieved an outcome which we are very happy with and we are confident the buyer will be equally happy with (win-win). We found Lily to be a very knowledgeable, ethical and professional person who we felt was working very hard to achieve a good outcome for us. We are in Vermont South and thought of going through a Vermont South agent but chose Biggins Scott Glen Waverley instead after interviewing Ming Xu and Lily. I find that her market knowledge of Vermont South properties is excellent giving us the comparison of prices in the area since she has been servicing this area for over 12 years. Her communication is excellent with her knowledge of so many languages and she came from Malaysia which is close to Singapore where I am born. We understand each other instantly. She is committed in the open for inspections and managed to get things done quickly like getting the photographer ,script writer and the display board up in just about 3 days. Due to the lockdown, she managed to get so many buyers in at a notice of about 4 hours on a Thursday and the auction at 8 pm. We requested the auctioneer Ming Xu that we preferred since he is one of the best auctioneer here and he can connect better with the Chinese buyers. She managed to get him even at such short notice. I am very happy with her being to hardworking and can get things done quick. I am a chartered accountant for over 40 years and dealt with thousands of clients and staff and I know who are the good ones. Lily is one of those and I recommend her highly as your next agent for sale of any house.

After 6 months talking to agents and advocates, I chose Lily based on her understanding of my requirements, her knowledge of the area and the rapport we had built. Due to Covid and other delays, the auction date got deferred a few times - and she was able to adapt. And then with Lockdown-4 and the auction scheduled for Day-2 of the new lockdown, she was able to quickly arrange it to 7pm before the midnight closure. While some trepidation on my part, we achieved an excellent result. Happy to recommend her to fellow sellers.
