He gave us very useful feedback on what to do around the property to best present for prospective buyers. David had a great sense of humour and made a seemingly challenging situation like a planned auction an understandable strategy and always looked out for us. My first impression was that Ryan lacked some self confidence and experience, but I thought it was a well resourced estate agency. I would rather have someone who was going to work hard rather than someone who was over confident. My conclusion is that Ryan is more experienced than the first impression and we were very pleased with the end result. I do have my reservations regarding the auctioneer Stuart Buckingham. I got the distinct impression that he had not done any preparation on the particular property. It did not seem to affect the outcome but it was a worry to me. The lesson for me was to speak to make sure that you speak to the auctioneer personally in the days before the auction to make sure they have done some preparation for that particular property.

I found Stuart to be a most effective auctioneer and leader of the Buckingham team. I appreciated especially the frequent follow-up of Open House events and the regular reporting of progress during the lead-up to the sale. We chose Stuart to sell our house because he came with a very good knowledge of the area. He grew up here and knows the people, the businesses and the value of property. When he came to the house initially he provided a very good 'spiel' on how the marketing would go and did not promise any particular price, which others had done and can get you in with false hopes. The open house days were well organised and he contacted many people off the books before we went to sale to garner as much interest as possible. The team was excellent with special mention for Kylie Pascetta, who kept us in the loop and was happy to help with any enquiry we had. We were happy with the price we achieved. Stuart was a good auctioneer and he read the crowd well. We recommend him without reservation.

His initial approach was genuine and made me feel confident that being their client was special for him. His team always contacted me before they took anyone through my house for inspection. They always left my house neat and tidy and always spoke in a respectful manner and were completely trustworthy. A very honest and relaxed approach in negotiation which is very comforting.
