We’ve sold properties in the past and our previous experience was that the listing/senior agent would sign you up and would attend very few of the inspections - this was not the case with Buckingham. In March of this year 2015 I was privileged to have David Oakley sell my home. It was the first property I had owned and reluctantly I was selling to move interstate for work. David was recommended to me via a friend and immediately when I met him I knew he was passionate about selling and this to me was a great sign. When we sat down to discuss the selling process he outlined the sales trends in the suburb of Macleod and neighbouring areas so that I could gauge where my property would fit into the current market. We both agreed that an auction would suit for the sale of my 2 bedroom unit. The sales campaign was 4 weeks and during this time there were 8 open homes all of which were very successful. After each open home David would contact me to advise what interest there was and if any repeat potential buyers had revisit the property. Auction day arrived and despite the nerves I realised that all the dedication, hard work and support David had given me throughout the campaign had worked and it was coming together before my eyes as the crowd grew. The Auctioneer for my property was Stuart Buckingham and I knew his style of auctioneering coupled with the David’s dedication during the sales campaign were going to make for a very successful auction and it did as my property sold at auction well above my expectations. From the first contact visit - Scott Anderson's friendly advice and professional knowledge let me know I had made the right decision. Scott's patience with me re: auction date changes saw all the 'cards eventually fall into place" and all with a minimum of fuss. The sales team at Buckingham & Co were just as professional and personable in my dealings with them.
