It was with some initial hesitation and scepticism when we welcomed Burton and Ryan Property Agents into our home prior to selling. Despite these fears we signed a contractual agreement with them following several assurances during their professional presentation. These included selling our property for the highest possible price in the shortest possible time frame. Learning by experience I now see just how critical their advice was especially in regards to the science of price setting. Due to their extensive blanket marketing strategy we were staggered at the number of people to turn up at our first and only open house inspection. From this point onwards their expert negotiation skills resulted in a final selling price that was above our expectations. Despite the different platforms that are now available for house sellers we are glad we did not enter down these avenues. I feel that if you are contemplating such an important undertaking as selling your home you need many years of expertise in this field.
