It's often said that you make your own luck - it is so true with how John Clarkson operates. He lays down the best possible foundations during the sale campaign then follows up with his energetic Auctioneering ability to maximise the 'luck' on Auction day. My wife and I sat with John to map out the sale campaign. He clearly communicates the proposed sale strategy and timeline, he knows the local market and profiles the prospective buyers very well. We were very comfortable with John and trusted in him. He was always available, responsive and kept us informed throughout the campaign. He is very engaging at Open for Inspections and converses well with prospective buyers and doesn't just ask for name and phone number like some agents do. John is a strategic thinker and invests a lot of his personality and energy into getting the best outcome for his Clients. I would recommend John to others without reservation.

It is indeed a pleasure to be able to comment on the performance of Buxton Brighton in the recent sale of our house. From our first meeting with Stefan, we were advised on how to present our property for sale, the best time to sell the property and an honest appraisal of the property. Throughout the campaign we were kept up to date with perspective buyers and their thoughts on the property, the condition of the house, and meetings with Stefan and John in the lead up to the auction. The level of professionalism from everyone at Buxton Brighton has been exemplary, culminating with a very successful auction last Saturday, and a result better than expected. I had the pleasure of working with John Clarkson selling my mother in laws house at 15 Anne Crescent Brighton. John, did an absolutely brilliant job auctioning the property. In fact the crowd gave him an ovation at the end as the result was excellent and the crowd were highly entertained throughout proceedings. Importantly he looked after my elderly mother- in- law carefully as selling the home she shared for many years with her husband who is now in a home can be emotional . John dealt with all of this with great care and passion. John, is well liked throughout Brighton and his integrity ,honesty and attitude is best in class. I will only use John to sell any of our family properties moving forward. A great credit to Buxton's to have someone of John's experience in the company.

After an unsuccessful result from another agent, I decided to follow my own advice and use the biggest successful agents in the area, Buxtons. Stephan was extremely knowledgeable on sales/properties in the area and what we could achieve, communication was fantastic he is a really down to earth helpful guy. The marketing is utilising only the bang for buck stuff and reasonable. Although we did not achieve the price we wanted Stefan and John (auctioneer) obtained a record per meter price for our home.
