About David

Ask David Gaskin what makes a great Real Estate Agent and he will tell you it’s much more than just making a sale. “Apart from integrity and honesty, it’s all about the experience,” says David. “Anyone can give the spiel but it’s about building relationships with people and making sure they don’t feel like just another number.” A true local, David has lived in Woombye since he was just seven years old and knows the area like the back of his hand. With 25 years of retail experience under his belt including running a family business for many years, David’s love of people and his ability to build a great rapport with his clients is at the heart of why he chose a career in Real Estate. When he is not looking after his clients, you’ll find the father of two on the soccer field as a Coach with the mighty Woombye Snakes or enjoying family time with his teenage children.

Works for the buyer not the seller

The first red flag was minutes after signing the contract to sell our house. He says ‘ if it’s not working out he won’t hold me to the contract, we can go our separate ways’. What, sounds like this happens to him a lot. I should have ended it then. Brought an offer several hundreds of thousands of dollars below what he and other agents had valued the property at. Told me it was a starting point, then tried to crawl up in mear 10s of thousands from there. No thanks. I was so disgusted, I hung up on him. If he hadn’t then come back with an offer in the ball park, he would have seen the door. We really started to think he was related to the buyer. Even left me a creepy voice mail to say he was awake and could not sleep thinking I had the wrong idea about the buyer and rabbited on about how wondering she was. You think, she and him tried their hardest to get me to sell several hundreds of thousands below what it eventually went for. Lots of lies then proceeded, for example. Told me the buyer could not make inspection time because she was working. When I replied that he had told me she didn’t work, he came back with ‘oh sorry, my mistake, she is packing’. I have brought and sold eight properties so far and none of the agents I have used in the past have been a problem. In the past I have never felt that my agent was trying to screw me over like this guy tried to.

Awesome Job

A professional thats passionate about providing you the best possible outcome for your property.

I found Gary to be very detailed when advising of the marketing of my property, with an eye for detail especially with shooting pictures and suggesting the marketing campaign, his experience and market knowledge certainly shows through. Passionate about achieving the best possible outcome he has a very friendly and outgoing personality, he certainly went way above expectations for me personally and I would not hesitate to recommend him if your buying or selling property.

Great experience

Kirk from Century 21 was great to deal with during a complicated sale. He was always super helpful and upfront and always kept communication open. Even once the deal was done he kept in touch afterwards and even dropped off an awesome hamper and made sure we were all settled.
