I recently engaged Milton to sell my long held residential investment property in Glenbrook and have been very happy with the result. Milton came to my home with a very comprehensive written report that gave an overview of the current market conditions and also documenting his dominance of residential sales in Glenbrook and Lapstone over a long period. Milton articulately explained his proposed sales strategy, which buyer demographic the probable purchaser would come from and his assessment of a realistic sale price based on recent comparable sales activity and current macro and local market influences. The online marketing materials produced were in my opinion first rate as was Milton’s liaison with the two tenants who needed to be managed as part of the open for inspection component of the property marketing. In addition to Milton as licensee in charge of Chapman’s Glenbrook office he has a great back up team including the Concierge department as well as Glen Power who personally took the purchaser’s signed contract to my solicitor’s office to facilitate an unconditional exchange late on the the afternoon before the scheduled auction. Should I need to sell again in the Glenbrook area I will engage Milton in a heartbeat.

I used to work in real estate sales, and i made no secret of this when interviewing the six agents that i did. I understood the process, what i needed was someone who knew the mountains, the people who live there, and the people looking to buy there. Essentially someone who could "sell the mountains". I was also co-owner of the property and was entrusted by the other party to make the right choice of agent, thus adding to the pressure to make the right choice. From the start, there was no bullxxxx with Milton. The appraisal price was sober and based in fact, that which he broke down and made understandable. The property had a list of distinct challenges which would impact greatly the buyer pool, but - also had unique qualities that would appeal to a particular sector of the market. The flow of information was in tandem with the sale process. I felt informed and current in the progress of the sale. The way Milton spoke about the buyer was cordial and respectful, similarly he always spoke to me with a great deal of politeness and respect. I knew for fact that he would have other listed properties that would mean far greater commissions though i never felt this reflected in the time he always made available for me. The sale price was almost exactly what he appraised, underlining his intimate knowledge of real property value for the region. In short, he never behaved like the archetypical sales agent. Moreso, a down to earth believable guy who happened to sell property. Even the staff in his office were pleasant and real. Another reflection on him i'm sure.
