We selected Mark to help sell our investment property on the basis of the excellent job he did selling our home several years ago. Mark structured an approach that minimised our initial costs whilst getting a good assessment of the market for what was a niche property. Mark's structured approach, commitment to us as vendor as well as potential buyers, was supported by regular communication and advice. We were successful in selling our property, and for a price we were very happy with. Unfortunately we don't have any more properties in Sydney as we would go to Mark again if we did!

I cannot speak highly enough of the way that Rita Lopresti organised and structured the campaign and consequent successful sale of our house. Throughout, her professionalism, experience, communication skills and delightful manner were of the highest calibre. Having once instructed Rita from Cobden and Hayson she organised the marketing and necessities required with remarkable efficiency and good taste. The brisk campaign was conducted over a four-week period which included the successful auction. Throughout the campaign Rita maintained continuous contact, always informing us of the feedback both favourable and negative which in conjunction with her advice was so important in helping us to arrive at a realistic reserve. She managed the supporting legal and various other necessary factors seamlessly, something I was so grateful for. I recently engaged Mark Bowis from Cobden & Hayson to sell my home in Louisa Road, Birchgrove. Being a high-end waterfront property (being sold in challenging market conditions), it was important I engage an agent who would be highly proactive yet strategic. Apart from being super professional, Mark worked relentlessly to achieve a successful sale in a relatively short time frame. In particular, Mark worked diligently and closely with a number of discerning buyers - intensely negotiating till the late hours of the night on numerous occasions for buyers in different international time zones. Mark is particularly masterful at negotiation, extracting every last dollar where possible. Being a true local suburb expert, Mark is also extremely skilled at identifying the true value of a property and able to draw buyers’ attention to all the things they’d not necessarily see for themselves. This skill increases the chance of higher sale prices but not at the detriment of buyers. It’s also important to acknowledge that Mark is a super nice person, able to quickly establish a comfortable rapport with buyers to open up the lines of communication. I found him nothing but a pleasure to deal with, from start to finish.
