We like many people have been on the search for a house for many many months. The Sydney property market is crazy. We managed a minor miracle and bought in early march. We then decided very last minute to list our existing property rather than rent it out. Several friends have used Steve throughout the years and have all spoke very highly of his skills and ability as a negotiator but more importantly of his honesty and integrity , both for the vendor and the buyer. This, particularly in a market where it is easy for agents to look shiny without doing very much was of the utmost importance to us. Our home was on a main road in a suburb that has 'almost' gone crazy but not quite, we needed someone who would be honest and set realistic expectations, rather than lure us in with some outrageous figure only to have the campaign bomb. Steve met with us and set out a game plan to have our house sold within the month. It was an ambitious plan that involved a 'Block' style makeover a styling event and our family of five moving out within the week. Our contacts were correct, Steve's kindness, honesty and 100% availablity over the campaign was amazing and not just Steve, we had access to Lachlan and a host of back office staff. At Cunninghams you are really supported by many people rather than just the agent and that made all the difference. Our house was transformed and Steve and Lochlan led it to market. Over the three weeks, Steve kept in regular contact and handled all of my questions. I was nervous and he continually and professionally allayed my fears. The week before auction a different strategy was taken and it was decided to accept offers again Steve spent time outlining his reasons and we felt completly confident in his approach. We sold a few days later for hundreds of thousands more yes hundreds than we ever hoped for. It ended up being a street record and I firmly believe the change in strategy made all the difference.
