I stumbled upon Nat at a open home for the very place I'd end up buying so maybe that's a sign of how good she is at her job! Nats communication methods are straightforward and to the point, rarely were my questions asking her to clarify something she'd said but rather another question that had come to mind during our conversations. She also replies to messages at insane hours (Nat get a better bed time!). When it came time sell my parents house it was recommended that I go to Downton Real Estate. Natalie has a deep knowledge and understanding of the local housing market which helped guide us through every step of the sale and especially while I was away travelling. What I really appreciated was that she kept me abreast of all of the developments during the inspection and sale process. Natalie is a great communicator and very professional and what I loved about Natalie was that she is very transparent in the way she works. As I mentioned, Natalie saw the opportunities for a good sale and took them but always seeking out agreement from me and keeping me in the loop at all stages even while I was overseas. I always felt that she described the current situation accurately and always to be working for me. Through all of those interactions she was open, honest and I think behaved with impeccable personal professionalism and ethics. The particular advantage of Natalie, and Downton Real Estate in general is that they have long lists of people who are seeking homes in the Moonah/ Newtown area and so I believe she was able to use those list to expose our property to a wide range of buyers even though it was an off market sale. In the end the sale price far exceeded my expectations and I was amazed at the results. Natalie did just about all of the negotiation on my behalf and when it came to contracts and negotiating settlement dates it was a breeze. The whole process of preparing and selling our house form start to finish seemed to take much less effort than I thought it would. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Natalie Downton and Downton Real Estate.
