Drakos Real Estate was established in the early 1960’s by Stanley Drakos as a small, independent real estate office to service both business sales and real estate property sales in the greater Brisbane area.
With an influx of Greek migrants to Brisbane, Stanley was instrumental in assisting many them to rent or purchase property or businesses. Initially in Hardgrave Road, he moved his office to Vulture Street, West End and then to the corner of Boundary and Russell Streets West End.
In 1982 Stanley Drakos retired and sold his business to Chris Kazonis who continued to trade under the same business name of S Drakos Real Estate.
In 1986, Chris moved the business to its current site at 69 Russell Street West End on the corner of Browning Street and from this prominent location, the office became an integral part of West End and the popularity of total Real Estate services proliferated through the entire South Brisbane area.
