Ian helped me to market and sell my unit. He was at all times very supportive and totally professional. Even though I live in another city, Ian always communicated with me and I felt that I was an integral part of the process. He always took the time to explain the various steps and decisions to me. I would recommend Ian to anyone who is wanting to sell their house.

Ian and his team have managed properties for me for over 10 years and I would not trust them to anyone else. From complete professionalism, to expert industry insights and advice, Exchange Property will give you full peace of mind. Specifically with regard to some recent sales, Ian has brought in items from home to help style the property, and spent significant time and effort investigating Strata report issues that were threatening a sale, which turned a failed auction into a better than anticipated result.

Ian sold me my first apartment. He was the best agent I had come across during the lengthy period that I had been looking, probably over 2 to 3 years. Ian was upfront, honest, has a brilliant personality, and was simply the most genuine agent I had the privilege of dealing with. Could not rate him higher. The experience of getting to the point of purchasing the apartment was actually enjoyable, and the large, if not the only reason for that, was because I enjoyed conversing with Ian, never felt like I could not ask a question, and always felt like I would get an honest response. Ian was a fantastic agent and I would highly recommend him for anyone buying or selling.

Trying to renovate and sell a property in Sydney when I was based in Adelaide would seem to be an impossible task. However with Ian’s help and knowledge of everything concerned with the task it was possible. He did a marvellous job with cleaners, repairers, and all the other bits and pieces with getting a virtual wreck ready for sale, then selling it. Well done Ian and I am very grateful.

Also super hard working and went out of his way to ensure a smooth exchange process, even on a Sunday! He really made my first home purchase as easy and stress free as possible.

Ian has the perfect business. Not too big and not too small that he manages with a loyal and dedicated staff. Always quick to respond to any of my questions and provide constructive and considered advice. While Ian was in charge of my old family home in Newtown I honestly felt he was more concerned about the place than I was. Having owned the house for 40 years the decision to sell was difficult but Ian was the perfect agent. He laid out a carefully considered plan of how to sell and all I had to do was follow it. It all worked just as Ian said it would. I felt involved and in control through the whole process with all my questions answered clearly and professionally. Ian is clearly a very good agent and I am to happy to recommend him.

We were very lucky to have been introduced to Ian Comyns in 2011 to take over the management of our Sydney property while we were living overseas. Ian’s and his team are everything you want in a managing agent, complete professional oversight reassuring us that we had our investment in the right hands. When it came to sell the property in 2021, we couldn’t have been more pleased! Ian arranged for competitively priced offers to have our property reconditioned and beautifully styled and brought in a fabulous photographer and videographer to showcase our property, which help make it more appealing to a large group of potential buyers. Ian’s marketing team is top notch! We received records amount of interest on the first day the property went on the market, thanks in large part to Ian’s incredible work and advice. Even with the Covid movement restrictions, Ian guided grizzled investors and nervous first-time buyers through the property eliciting interest and evaluating their potential at the end of each day with a phone call status. It was very easy to agree a selling strategy as Ian is close to the market and gave great advice to achieve best value. On the day of the auction, Ian and his sales team did a fantastic job on driving the interest in our property, resulting in a sale price that exceeded our expectations. We had a great experience over a decade-long relationship and would have no hesitation to recommend Ian and the team at Exchange Property Sales and Management.

Ian was very clear and communicative throughout the pre-auction period. I was quite impressed that he's taken the time to understand potential buyers' situation and purchase criteria - addressing questions with ample explanations. On auction day, Ian kept good contact with myself and my buyer's agent. Overall, I feel that Ian's service level as a seller's agent ought to be commended!

Ian has been absolutely wonderful both through being my managing agent renting the property through to selling. I live in another State and Ian went above and beyond dealing with the tenants and preparing the property for sale. I trusted Ian and his team 110% through the whole process. Fast, efficient and surprising result. I would almost buy another property in Sydney to be able to deal with Ian again. Thank you so much!
