Hodges Caulfield, were originally appointed to manage our rental property and when it came time to sell, based on their exceptional service, we had no hesitation in appointing them as the selling agent. We were introduced to Oren and he immediately impressed with his no nonsense approach. Our conversation, resulting in his appointment, was open and to the point. Oren spoke about what we needed to know rather than what we wanted to hear. Oren’s communication throughout the auction campaign was a critical factor in determining the ultimate sale of our property. No challenge was too great for Oren and he went above and beyond, to address the many issues arising from selling a rental property, with the tenants occupying the property during the marketing campaign. Negotiating with the tenants regarding access to and maintaining the property in the best state for marketing was left to Oren and the co-operation achieved from the tenants was amazing. Whilst the property did not sell at auction, the dogged determination that Oren displayed after the event, resulted in the property’s sale that afternoon. We recently purchased an investment apartment bought through Hodges Caulfield. Golan Flamm was the sales agent, and we can only praise him for all that he did in connection both to viewings of apartments of interest to us, and the final purchase of our new apartment. We have had a fair amount of experience with real estate sales agents, since we have bought, lived in, and sold a number of homes over the past three decades. In terms of his winning personality, his helpful information and frankness in discussing the various aspects of the sales properties, his evident enjoyment of his job and extraordinary eagerness and energy in meeting our every need and request, happily going well beyond what was required or expected, Golan leads the pack. We were on a tight schedule, and so to help us expedite the sale Golan made himself available at all hours of the day or night, dropping off property information at our house in the evening and even bringing the vendors to the conveyancer's house around 10:30 pm to sign the sales contract. These qualities of good humour, energy, eager willingness to extend himself on our behalf, and openness and honesty about the whole process, just by themselves predisposed us to the properties he presented. We've had the pleasure now of both buying from, and selling through, Golan. Despite these events occurring 4 years apart (actually, for the same property), the high standard that we came to respect and admire from Golan has remained. He was always optimistic, enthusiastic, nothing was ever a problem, and he consistently went the extra mile for us. He was always available, communicated with us in ways that were convenient to us (moving between email, text and calls as time/needs/availability dictated). While selling our property, too, he was constantly on our side, had our back, and was never pushy. I cannot recommend Golan highly enough.
