We recently purchased an investment apartment bought through Hodges Caulfield. Golan Flamm was the sales agent, and we can only praise him for all that he did in connection both to viewings of apartments of interest to us, and the final purchase of our new apartment. We have had a fair amount of experience with real estate sales agents, since we have bought, lived in, and sold a number of homes over the past three decades. In terms of his winning personality, his helpful information and frankness in discussing the various aspects of the sales properties, his evident enjoyment of his job and extraordinary eagerness and energy in meeting our every need and request, happily going well beyond what was required or expected, Golan leads the pack. We were on a tight schedule, and so to help us expedite the sale Golan made himself available at all hours of the day or night, dropping off property information at our house in the evening and even bringing the vendors to the conveyancer's house around 10:30 pm to sign the sales contract. These qualities of good humour, energy, eager willingness to extend himself on our behalf, and openness and honesty about the whole process, just by themselves predisposed us to the properties he presented. At the same time, it was evident to us that he very well represented his vendors' interests in getting a good price, so that in the end we had a win-win situation in which both vendors and purchasers (we ourselves) were very happy with the result.
