From the moment I first phoned Rob to sell my family home I knew I was in good hands. Within a couple of hours of calling Rob he was sitting at my dining table, fully prepared to talk me through his plans for the sale. He came prepared with detailed market analysis, marketing recommendations and a plan to get us the best price. I thought there were going to be problems because I live in Brisbane and could not be in Melbourne during the sale. No problem to Rob though, he was working hard on my behalf and made every element of the sale process quick and easy. Rob backed by his buyers agent David and his personal assistant Jeanne along with the rest of the Fletchers Blackburn team took care of everything with efficiency and a real sense of urgency. Photos were taken, street board was installed, brochures were printed and advertising booked all with the speed and efficiency you would expect from experts in their field. Rob even worked with the tenants to make sure they were kept informed of open houses and inspections. During the pre-auction marketing period Rob and his team were in constant contact. Regular calls, texts and emails kept me informed of how the open houses went and what interest Rob was getting from potential buyers. Come auction day Rob and his team were in their element - doing what they do best - getting the property sold. One of Rob's team called me before the auction started and kept me informed of how the auction was progressing. My heart was in my mouth as the bids crept upwards. When I heard Rob shout out "SOLD" at more than $70,000 over the reserve, I had a moment of clarity, realising "this is why I got the experts to sell the property for me". We were impressed with the close attention Rob gave to the sale of our property. His exemplary sales and auctioneering skills brought the sale price well in excess of our expectations. The suggestions he made to improve the garden, and arranging of furniture also showed the level of detail he was prepared to go to.
