We've been with Freeman's for a while now. The oven and dishwasher haven't worked since we moved in, there's a fence that's completely unattached to the wall leaving our property susceptible to anyone just walking on in, the kitchen hinges are rusted to the point of falling apart and half of our windows have no fly screens on them so they can't be opened (we were told they would be cleaned and replaced but nothing has happened). We've sent multiple emails to our agent and receive no response, the only communication that we get is that they received our rent money. We shouldn't have to escalate things to the RTA just to get a working oven so that we can cook in the property we are paying for!! Their communication has been disappointing and almost nonexistent, we are offered no information or updates, no work has been arranged to fix the issues we've raised. Entire experience has left us working even harder to buy a house so we never have to deal with a real estate again!!

The home was not cleaned and no great effort was made to resolve this issue. I had to spend my own time and money to clean what should have been cleaned. The home has mould, holes in the walls and broken blinds. I was told due to seeing this on a 5min walk through inspection that they would not be fixed because they were present at the time of walk through. The dishwasher would not drain after the first attempt at use and the realty notified immediately. No response. The ensuite ceiling started to show signs of fast growing mould and turns out there is a water leak in the roof. It took 4 days to get a response and their emergency plumber only advised to turn of the water mains if it got worse but would not come out. The benchtops had been DIY painted over by the previous owners and they are already bubbling and peeling off. I have been in the residence for less than a month and there is problem after problem. None of the outstanding issues have been resolved or even reviewed by a professional. $810.00 /wk in an affluent neighbourhood can't even save this house. Very Dissappointed. People choose to rent for many reasons. Having owned numerous homes, this feels as though the bones have been thrown off the table to the renters and there is supposed to be a show of gratitude. It is a poor way to treat tenants who are paying the investment and profits for both the owner and real estate. A mutual respect for the position of all parties is needed.

I think everything happened so fast at the time of the visit that I didn't have time to understand the professionalism at the time, but once they called me I understood everything.
